FM Logistic appoints Marta Simón as Managing Director in Iberia

FM Logistic, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, announces that Marta Simón is the new Managing Director of FM Logistic Ibérica.

During her more than 15 years at FM Logistic, Marta has successfully led several key operations for major retail, FMCG and industrial accounts, as well as managing functional positions in critical areas such as IT, business studies, QHSE and project management.

In addition, Marta has been a key figure in the development and start-up of FM Logistic’s first owned platform in Illescas, where her leadership has been fundamental in the implementation of innovative and efficient logistics solutions.

In her last position as Operations Director for Spain and Portugal, Marta has demonstrated a great ability to lead multidisciplinary teams achieving excellent results in a dynamic and constantly evolving logistics environment.

With a solid academic background that includes a degree in Economics from San Pablo CEU University and a master’s degree in management of logistics companies from Nebrija University, Marta Simón has demonstrated leadership skills and strategic vision throughout her career.

Marta started her professional career in 1998 at Alcampo, where she gained extensive experience in the organisation and systems department for seven years. Since then, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in the logistics sector, most notably as site manager at DHL before joining FM Logistic in 2009.
