FM Logistic will sponsor Hockey Club Valls

FM Logistic, an international logistic operator, has signed an agreement with Hockey Club Valls to become the club’s official sponsor.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dolors Farré, mayoress of Valls; Óscar Reyes, site manager of FM Logistic Valls and Frederic Roquet, director of the club.

FM Logistic will sponsor six teams from prebenjamín to infantil, children aged between 4 and 13 years old. All of these teams will now include the FM Logistic name on their finish. “These teams are the ones that involve the most children and families. We are a club with a lot of passion and ambassadors of this minority sport”, argues Frederic Roquet.

Hockey Club Valls has three categories: men’s hockey, women’s hockey and hockey adapted for people with disabilities. “We were the first hockey club in Tarragona to have a section for people with disabilities and we are very few clubs in Spain with three sections: adapted, women’s and men’s hockey. I can only think of C.P. Voltregá, one of the teams with the longest history in the hockey world”, argues David Ribé, a member of the club’s board of directors. In his opinion, it is necessary to give normality to this type of tournaments and categories.

“At FM Logistic we are delighted to be able to help the Valls hockey club. We believe that we have to support local sport in the towns where we are located and more specifically teams that advocate integration, as it coincides with the values of the Company ”, explains Óscar Reyes.

Hockey is a very inclusive sport. “In fact, unlike other sports, it can be practised in mixed mode, girls and boys together in a team up to the age of 17,” adds David Ribé.
