FM Logistic boosts women’s soccer in Valls

FM Logistic, an international logistics operator, held last Saturday a women’s soccer tournament at the Fornàs de Valls field, which pitted the girls of its two operations centers in Tarragona: Puigpelat and Valls.

FM Logistic is committed to minority sports and equal opportunities in soccer. The mayoress of Valls, Dolors Farré, did not want to miss this event and supported the company by joining the starting 11 of the team representing her municipality, FM Logistic Valls.

This action is part of one of the projects offered by FM Logistic to its employees, the Blue Hearts Project. This program supports employee initiatives linked to a particular hobby and are presented as a project to be shared collectively with employees. All these projects must be in line with the Company’s values and must be led by the employees who present the projects: “I am very proud of the girls who make up FM Logistic. They have debuted a very even match, with a lot of competitiveness and respect and have left a very high level of competition”, explains Óscar Reyes, site manager of the operations of Valls and Puigpelat in FM Logistic.

With this type of initiative, FM Logistic demonstrates its commitment to gender equality and its support for women’s sports, promoting values such as teamwork, effort and companionship.
